King Olav V Norwegian-American Heritage Fund
HRM, King Olav V of Norway allows the Sons of Norway Foundation
to use his name in establishing a fund to promote cultural
exchange between Norway and North America. The fund welcomes
applications from Americans, 18 years or older, with a
plan of studies to focus on exploring his/her interest
in Norwegian heritage or in modern Norway at an institution
of higher learning. The fund also welcomes Norwegians,
18 and older, who desire to further their studies in North

Astrid G. Cates/Myrtle Beinhauer Fund
Astrid G. Cates and Dr. Myrtle Beinhauer remembered
Sons of Norway Youth with special bequests through their
estates to the Sons of Norway Foundation. We invite
applicants enrolling in post-secondary training or education
including trade school, vocational school or college
and must be current Sons of Norway members, children

Nancy Lorraine Jensen Memorial Scholarship Fund
Dr. and Mrs. Arthur S. Jensen established this fund
in memory of their remarkable daughter, Nancy Lorraine
Jensen, an aerospace engineer/chemist at NASA, who died
unexpectedly at age 35. The fund encourages female American
citizens between 17 and 35 to apply for financial assistance
for programs in chemistry or physics, or in chemical,
electrical or mechanical engineering. The candidate,
or parent/grandparent of the candidate, must be a current

Helen Tronvold Norwegian Folk High School Scholarship The Sons of Norway Foundation Helen Tronvold Norwegian Folk High School Scholarship, established in 2005, supports the Sons of Norway Foundation’s goal of providing cross-cultural experiences for youth. Lund Fund Scholarship The Sons of Norway International Board of Directors established the Lund
Fund of the Sons of Norway Foundation in 2010 as a tribute to former Chief
Executive Officer, John Lund and Alan Lund, former Legal Counsel of Sons of
Norway, for their combined forty years of outstanding service and
dedication. This scholarships fund provides scholarships for study abroad
