The U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) and Anti-doping Norway signed an agreement this week to strengthen both countries’anti-doping programs through the exchange of knowledge and experience.

“Anti-doping Norway has for a long time been working with countries where the main purpose has been to share our expertise. When we enter into a partnership with USADA, it is more about what we can learn from USADA as an organization, including research, testing planning and prevention programs," said Anti-Doping Norway’s CEO Anders Solheim.

The agreement was signed June 25 by Solheim and USADA CEO Travis Tygart. Prime Minister Erna Solberg and US Ambassador to Norway Kenneth Braithwaite were present at the event, along with dignitaries including the chair of Anti-doping Norway, the World Anti-Doping Agency vice president and the president of the National Olympic Committee.
