Job Summary

Internal Sales Representative increase’s the sale of Sons of Norway life insurance and annuity products via outbound and inbound telephone activity, emails, training sessions and webinars.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Recruit agents to become contracted to offer Sons of Norway products.
  • Assist agents with product information and sales ideas.
  • Capable of working independently, as well as in a team environment.
  • Assist in developing recruiting campaigns and product positioning ideas.
  • Develops and maintains a comprehensive knowledge of Sons of Norway products.
  • Tracks and reports on sales activities to help increase sales.
  • Various sales support activities assigned as needed.
  • Gather industry information to assist with providing competitive intelligence.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 2-3 years of life insurance and/or annuity sales experience preferred
  • Understanding of life insurance and annuity product features and industry dynamics
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills
  • Familiar with illustration software or illustrations in general preferred
  • Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • MN Insurance License preferred

Education

Bachelor’s degree preferred.
