Come out for a Viking Corned Beef Dinner on Friday, March 8, 2019. Break bread with the Vikings of Bjornstad and members and friends of Sons of Norway Snorre Lodge #61. Enjoy corned beef, cabbage, red potatoes, carrots and rolls followed by Viking history lore.

Hear from the living history and educational group – The Vikings of Bjornstad. Concentrating on the Viking age from 793 through 1066 AD, this group strives for an authentic presentation of the culture, weapons, and crafts from a thousand years ago. The Vikings of Bjornstad offer an engaging, educational, hands-on opportunity to learn about Viking life.

The evening begins with dinner and a short meeting at 6:30 p.m. followed by The Vikings of Bjornstad program. Come dressed in your Viking clothing, Norwegian Bunad, or Norwegian sweater to show your Norwegian Viking Spirit!

Join us at the Hill & Valley Clubhouse, 1808 “B” Street in Hayward.

Requested donation – $15.00 – RSVP required by Wednesday, March 6th; call Vice President Ange Schaaphok at 510-502-2213.
