With lodges back in full swing, a lot of members are thinking of ways to raise awareness of Sons of Norway in their community and recruit new members. If you are a long-time reader of the R&R, then you know we’ve discussed a lot of different options for local lodges. This month, however, we are going to discuss one of the most efficient and cost effective options: utilizing promotional items and clothing that have the Sons of Norway logo and your lodge name on them.
There are a lot of companies out there that offer these items, but Sons of Norway highly recommends a company called EGroup. They have been our supplier of choice for promotional clothing, hats, mugs, membership pins and recognition plaques for years. In fact, they’ve been a sponsor of our International Convention for the last six years and their owner even attended Camp Norway when he was a young man! So, EGroup knows Sons of Norway very well and understands what our members like.
EGroup can provide items that are conversation starters for times when you are speaking with people who aren’t aware of Sons of Norway. Once they see our logo on your shirt or coffee mug they are likely to ask about what Sons of Norway is.
