DESCRIPTION:Imagine Life on Board the Restauration\nSaturday\, October 18\, 2025\, 1:30 – 3:00 p.m.\nElks Park\, south side of 3rd Street Bridge\, Thief River Falls\, MN \nThe Restauration measured 54’ long x 16’ wide and held 52 passengers for the voyage to America. The ship will be outlined in the grass and\, beginning at 2:00 p.m.\, everyone will be encouraged to be part of groups of 52 persons standing inside this outline (including children) to attempt to understand what life would have been like on this ship for the three-month voyage. Photos will be taken beginning at 2:00 p.m. Hot dogs and ice cream\, traditionally eaten in Norway on Syttende Mai\, will be served. Shuttles provided from parking lot at 2nd and Horace Streets.
