DESCRIPTION:Join us for a festival worship service\, folketog parade\, music & entertainment\, photo booth\, informational tables\, food\, and special activities for children. All are welcome! Velkommen!\n\n\nSchedule of Events\n\n\n\n\n\nIn the church sanctuary:\n\nNo 9 am service on this date\n10:30 am Prelude Concert\n11:00 am Festgudstjeneste/Festival Worship Service\nConcluding with the mass choir of the Norwegian Glee Club of Minneapolis\, Kvinnekor\, and Mindekirken Choir joining together for Grieg’s Landkjenning\n\nOn the street:\n\n12:15 pm/immediately following the service: Folketog (Walking Parade) with flags around the neighborhood- about an eight block loop\nGroups in the spirit of celebrating Norway are encouraged to bring their banner to carry in the parade\n\nIn the church parking lot:\n\n1:00 pm Picnic Lunch – featuring varme pølser (hotdogs)\, chips\, brus (soda)\, is (ice cream)\, and kaffe (coffee)\nDonation requested of $5 per adult\nChildren eat free!\n\nThroughout the afternoon on the church grounds:\n\nActivities and gift bags for children\nMusic and folk dancing\nPhoto booth\nInformational tables from the Mindekirken Norwegian Language & Culture Program (MNLCP)\, Concordia Language Villages/Skogfjorden\, Daughters of Norway\, and more!
