Brugjeld Peterson Historic Farmstead will be holding its annual Christmas on The Farm on Saturday, December 13, 2025 from 12:00pm to 3:00pm at 2349 450th Ave, Wallingford, IA. Events planned are sleigh rides, (pray for snow!!) or wagon rides along the shore of High Lake, caroling in the parlor on the pump organ, Live Nativity in the barn complete with cattle lowing, and Scandinavian treats which include lefse demonstrations in the kitchen. Brugjeld Bakers will have lefse and kringle for sale. Homemade Ice Cream will also be available. Snowmen and snowball fights are optional. Trails for snowshoeing or cross country skiing will be open if there is snow. Sidney Krueger from the Emmet County Nature Center will be there with a winter project for the kids. Free will offerings are welcome!
