Nordic Midsummer Fest will be held on Saturday, June 17, at Buck Hill in Burnsville, MN from 9 am to 9 pm.
Our Headlining Musical Entertainment will be the Harp Twins who will be accompanied by the Volfgang Twins on their Viking drums. There will be a full day of entertainment consisting of the Twin Cites Hardanger Fiddlers group, a Nordic Comedian–Chad Filley, the Lauluaika Finnish Band, the Per Gynt Dancers and the Nordic Surf band. The Viking Age Group will also be giving us a show! The event will be filled with Nordic Authors and Vendors offering their Scandinavian wares for you to browse through. Looking to learn something new? There will be Nordic Woodcarving, Rosemaling, and Lefse making demos. This is a family friendly event featuring a Frozen North area for children to visit with those favorite Frozen Nordic Queens. What would a Nordic event be without Nordic Foods and Brews? Not to worry because you will find them at our event.
This event is open to the public with a $10 entry fee for adults. Parking is free.
