We will be celebrating Midtsommer with the Vasa lodge on Saturday, June 20th. Come and join us at the picnic.
Nordic Lodge 708 will celebrate Midsommar together with SWEA. Members, family and friends are all welcome! The event is FREE!
Our meal together will be Potluck – bring a dish for 6-8 people to share. Paper plates, napkins and cutlery, will all be provided. Please bring your own beverages, but note that alcohol is not allowed at the park.
Attendees are encouraged to bring flowers and greenery (we need lots of greenery: leafy branches, english ivy, kudzu, etc.), to help decorate the Midsommarstång! We will enjoy various games and traditional dancing around the Midsommarstång.

The entrance to Farm Road is on Paper Mill Road, about 1/3-mile west of its intersection with Johnson Ferry Rd SE. **The most visible sign is labelled “Gateside Place” and is the entrance to a subdivision**. Look for the left turn!; if you see “Atlanta Country Club Drive” you’ve gone too far.
Farm Road is a simple gravel driveway. After you drive in, you will come into a gravel parking area in front of a large white home. Parking is to your left in the open field. Please turn left; there are signs directing you, and park in an organized way on the grass field. Before you turn, you’ll see the main area on your right, with picnic tables, a large brick grill and a shelter, which is where we will be.
