For 45 years, the Norwegian community in Minnesota has gathered to celebrate Norway’s Constitution Day over great food, colorful flags, national songs, and inspiring speakers. Syttende Mai Minnesota is proud to continue this cherished tradition at Norway House, hosted in the Sundet Aula on Saturday, May 16 from 5-8 p.m.
Colonel Christoffer Thomas Knutsen, Norway’s Military Attaché and Assistant Defense Attaché in Washington, D.C., will speak about his experience serving his country in the Norwegian Army and describe how dynamics of NATO have evolved since Finland joined in 2023 and Sweden in 2024.
