Peterson Point Preservation Foundation, in conjunction with Gro Svendsen Lodge 1-689, will be holding its annual Glaedelig Jul Christmas concert and fundraiser On November 23, 2025 at Estherville Lutheran Church in Estherville, IA.
The fundraiser is to raise money for operational costs for Brugjeld Peterson Historic Farmstead, a 160-year-old Norwegian-American farmstead, which has been on the National Registry of Historic Places since 2000. There will be a silent auction with several Scandinavian items including rosemaling, carvings and pewter spoons, as well as gift baskets and food items. The silent auction starts at 1pm. At 2pm, the concert will begin, and afterwards there will be Scandinavian treats and coffee to enjoy while winners of the silent auction are announced.
Free will offerings for the concert are appreciated.
