This is the Year to Celebrate! We proudly honor our heritage as descendants of the first 50 Norwegians who bravely journeyed across the Atlantic Ocean to the USA, a voyage that took three arduous months. Unlike the luxurious cruises of today, they carried their own provisions, packed their few necessities into a family trunk, and endured the cramped conditions of a small ship. We are privileged to hear these incredible stories from Dr. Lawrence Moe, a distinguished professor from the University of Minnesota. With his lifetime of historical expertise, Dr. Moe will share tales that will instill in us a profound respect for the resilience and determination of our ancestors.
