Scandia Lodge #1-680 is working with the Scandinavian community to plan and hold the 17th annual Nordic Music Festival, at the Lion’s Park in Victoria, MN.
There will be Scandinavian dancers, bands, choirs, musicians, and more performing in three venues in the Lion’s Park. The event runs from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. There will be a group of Nordic artists and craftsmen offering their creations for sale. The Viking Age Club will be present to demonstrate crafts and history of the ancient Viking world, including sword fighting demonstration. There will be Scandinavian and American foods and beverages for sale, including lefse, Danish pastries, and much more. A Silent Auction will be held, which is the primary source of funding for this event. A Lutefisk Toss will be held. Best of all, parking and admission to this event are free. The festival will be held come rain or shine.
