Who is it for?
If you’d like to contribute to the financial well-being of a young person, you might be interested in the benefits of Viking Voyager children’s life insurance. You can purchase and own the certificate on behalf of sons and daughters, nieces and nephews, grandchildren or great grandchildren.
Getting started with children’s life insurance
- As the certificate owner, you can make either an annual or single premium payment that provides an insurance benefit of $10,000, $15,000 or $25,000.
- When the insured turns 26 years old, the policy owner can choose to convert the certificate to a permanent life insurance plan, regardless of the health of the insured. At conversion, a credit of $3 per thousand of the original face amount is applied to the new first year premium.
Bonus benefit: heritage membership
A child insured with Viking Voyager automatically becomes a Sons of Norway “Heritage” member. Heritage members receive a membership card and free access to the Sons of Norway Sports Medal Program, Youth Cultural Skills Program, Idea Banks and Info Banks. At age 16, they qualify to become a full member of Sons of Norway, with reduced dues until age 23.
