The holiday season is right around the corner! To help get you in the spirit, Sons of Norway has partnered with the renowned choral ensemble VocalEssence on the production of a new Christmas album, Nordic Nativity.
The album, which is available for download from iTunes and Amazon contains 18 tracks of beautifully traditional holiday music from Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark. Bringing together a mixture of newly recorded material and live recordings from previous VocalEssence holiday concerts, Nordic Nativity is sure to bring holiday cheer into your home and be a cherished part of your yearly celebration.
This is a follow-up to four previous VocalEssence holiday recordings, which was captured at Plymouth Congregational Church in Minneapolis, MN. It celebrates the Nordic composers’ ability to craft an addicting melody that stays with you and includes traditional Nordic fiddle music performed by Sara Pajunen for an added authentic touch.
