Sons of Norway has lost a treasured, longtime member: Ray Knutson, Valhall 168, District 5, passed away earlier this week.
A member of Sons of Norway for 34 years, Ray is remembered for serving as a mentor to many within the organization and in multiple capacities, including as District 5 President and Treasurer, as well as International Treasurer. His volunteerism and dedication to Sons of Norway served as an inspiration to many within his lodge and within his wider community.
Ray was a resident of Davis Junction, Ill., and is survived by his spouse Sally, their children and many other relatives. Ray will be greatly missed by all, including his Sons of Norway brothers and sisters.
