Sons of Norway lodges diligently support their communities and members by hosting events, offering volunteer opportunities and providing funds.

Photo: Members and guests of Gateway to Florida lodge 3-541 in Jacksonville, FL participated in the annual Alzheimer’s Memory Walk at the University of North Florida campus in December 2021. Members donated over $500 to fight Alzheimer’s Disease.

Here is everything we accomplished in 2021, according to the numbers submitted by each lodge as part of the Lodge Achievement process:

Community Support
4,865 community events were held by lodges and districts in North America and Norway.
92,083 hours of community volunteer service were donated by members of Sons of Norway.
US $938,583 were provided to support community activities and needs. (Can $1.22 million, Nkr. 9,462,000)

Membership Support
14,141 lodge events held with a focus on Sons of Norway Members.
398,277 volunteer hours were devoted to lodge and district activities.
US $1,477,001 was provided to support member-focused lodge events and programming. (Can $1.92 million, Nkr. 14,890,000)

As pandemic restrictions continue to be lifted, we are sure that 2022 will prove to be even more industrious!
