Sons of Norway is seeking an individual for 15 to 20 hours per week to develop learning modules on various Norwegian topics to get elementary age youth excited about Norway past and present, as well as their heritage and culture. These lesson plans, with activities to occupy one to two-hour blocks of time, will be distributed to our approximately 370 local chapters throughout North America.
Requirements
- Rising Senior or recent college graduate in elementary education or Norwegian studies
- Proven experience preparing lesson plans
- Excellent writing skills
Preferred
- Norwegian/Scandinavian studies major or minor or demonstrated interest
- Norwegian language skills a plus
- Language Camp experience
